FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the nutritional information for Trinity Waters?
You can view and print out all of the nutritional facts and information for TRINITY Natural Mineral Supplement, TRINITY Geothermal Bottled Water and TRINITY Enhanced here.

What makes Trinity unique?
A rare geologic combination of depth, rock, heat, age, purity and crystals make Trinity Springs one of the best sources of spring water on the planet. With flawless natural purity, the water flows up hot from an astonishing depth of 2.2 miles. Trinity is carbon-dated at 16,000 years old and has been protected for eons in crystal-lined faults of solid granite. As the water journeys through these gem-like passageways, it is infused with vitality and natural minerals.

Where does Trinity come from?
Trinity comes from one of the deepest known sources: The water flows up from 2.2 miles deep within the protective granite of the Idaho Batholith. The Batholith, (which means 'deep rock' in Greek), is a massive granite formation that is 23,000 square miles on the surface and approximately 20 miles deep. Under its own tremendous natural pressure, the water steadily flows to the surface, emerging at the surface 138 degrees Fahrenheit.

Where is the Source located?
Trinity Springs is located near the base of the Trinity Mountains in south remote Idaho, between the small towns of Pine and Featherville, in a place called Paradise. The Sawtooth and Boise National Forests border the Trinity Springs. These forests contain some of the finest unspoiled wilderness in the U.S.

How do you know the Trinity source is more than 2 miles deep?
The depth was estimated using a standard geological calculation called a geothermal gradient. This gradient allows for the fact that water loses heat at a known rate as it travels upward through the earth. We know from the flashing of bubbles on the surface that Trinity Springs water, at depth, exceeds 212 degrees Fahrenheit. By using the known gradient and the mean annual surface temperature, hydrologists can calculate that the source is approximately 2.2 miles deep.

How do you know that the Trinity Springs source water is 16,000 years old?
Geochron Laboratories analyzed the Trinity Springs water using carbon-14 analysis. Improvements in C-14 dating techniques have been developed in recent years. Rafter Radiocarbon Laboratory, New Zealand, repeated C14 measurements in May 2003 using this new Accelerator Mass Spectrometry technology and found the age of the water to be 16,705 +/- 80yrs.

What is the temperature of the Trinity Springs source water when it emerges from the source?
138 degrees Fahrenheit.

Is it true that the Trinity Springs source water comes up through miles of quartz lined granite faults?
The granite quartz composition where the source is located is typical of the Idaho Batholith. This geologic fact, along with the concentration of quartz-related minerals present in Trinity, lead us to believe that Trinity has traveled through quartz-lined fissures with the same types of crystals visible at the source surface.

Do the quartz crystals affect the Trinity source water?
Many widely accepted forms of alternative medicine recognize the importance of "subtle energies." One of the theories given for how quartz crystals affect Trinity deals with the energy-charge transference from the quartz to the silica component of Trinity.

How do you know the Trinity source water is so pure and protected?
  1. Exhaustive studies have shown the source to be completely free of pathogens (a pathogen is a disease-causing organism, including coliform bacteria, cryptosporidium, giardia, etc.)
  2. Trinity source water is protected from contaminants by a solid granite formation that is impermeable to outside influences which may carry modern day pollutants, including pathogens.
  3. Trinity rises from its own positive pressure, which prevents any surface contaminants from mixing with the source.
  4. The Trinity source water depth and age provide evidence that it was part of the earth's hydrologic cycle when the planetary environment was still pristine.
  5. The Trinity source is consistent from season to season in its elemental composition, flow volume and physical properties indicating that it does not have other environmental influences.
  6. Trinity Springs Ltd.’s quality assurance program employs exemplary testing practices, which go well beyond standards set by regulatory agencies.
  7. The Trinity source water has zero tritium; a radioactive element found now in nearly all surface environments in significant concentrations throughout the world since nuclear testing began.

What Certifications does Trinity hold?
  • QAI Certified Source, America’s first Certified Source for natural purity by organic certifiers QAI (Quality Assurance International)
  • Trinity is also certified Kosher by Natural Food Certifiers
  • ISO9001/2001/HACCP Capacity and Handling Practices

Is the Trinity source pumped?
No. It comes up under its own pressure to the surface through fissures in granite. Trinity Springs Ltd. does not use any boreholes, pumps, or other mechanical interventions that can threaten the life and purity of the source or influence surrounding environmental reserves. To ensure that we are not taking any more than Mother Nature wants to give we capture Trinity and direct it by gravity through stainless pipes from the source to the production facility, a few yards away.

How much Trinity source water is there?
The combined annual output of the three Trinity sources is approximately 1 billion liters. All three sources are within a one-mile radius and contain identical constituents. Will the Trinity source ever run dry?Studies by the United States Geological Survey of other sources in the area show no seasonal variation in discharge rate. The constant flow at the sources indicates a substantial reservoir. This along with its origin and great age indicate that the supply is highly reliable for centuries to come.

How do you ensure that the Trinity source water stays ‘pure’ from source to bottle?
The bottling is done in a special class-3000 clean room (like those used for hospital surgery). We meet or exceed all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at our bottling facility as defined by the FDA. The bottling is done in a special "clean room" with a positive pressure air ventilation system that filters air using 0.3 micron High Efficiency Particle Arrestor (HEPA) filters. We also HEPA filter the air that feeds our capping unit. All Trinity bottles are rinsed and sanitized with ozonated Trinity spring water before filling to ensure the purity of the container.

What is the difference between the TRINITY Natural Mineral Supplement, TRINTY Geothermal Bottled Water, and TRINITY Kids Water?
TRINITY Natural Mineral Supplement (Gold), TRINITY Geothermal Bottled Water (Blue), and Trinity bottled water for Kid’s all come from the same unique, QAI Certified Source and have unmatched natural purity. The difference is the amount of naturally occurring minerals that are present in the water. TRINITY Geothermal Bottled Water has approximately 60% less mineral and the Kid’s water has approximately 85% less minerals than the Natural Mineral Supplement. The natural minerals are reduced by distilling a portion of the Trinity water, and adding it back into the original product to create a ‘partially distilled’ Trinity Water that retains some, but not all, of the minerals in the source water.
